Common remedies for acne, zits and blackheads.

 

A lot people, especially young teens, have as a primary concern the development and surfacing of pimples. A lot of teens dread the prospect of having this due to their desire to have clean and clear faces. Teenagers do not necessarily have the money to go for expensive treatments with the dermatologist and usually result to simpler measures that are within reach. They tend to look for affordable and convenient remedies for pimples. Below is a list for pimples, specifically acne, zits and blackheads.

 

Remedies Acne

 

Acne is basically formed when oil and dirt are trapped in the pores of the skin. They usually originate from filthy hair, or when touched by filthy hands. There exist natural or Herbal Remedies Pimples. Nutmeg mixed with milk, for instance, can be applied on the skin for at least 1 hour. Pimples are expected to disappear. Milk can also be mixed with lemon juice to cure acne, as well as cure cracking and dry skin. Tomatoes or cucumber can also be used to lessen acne. Pimples are also known to disappear when fresh garlic is applied on them. Honey, when applied before sleeping and in the morning, is also a known effective natural remedy for acne. Remedies Blackheads

 

Black heads usually appear before acne, and start when dead cells, oil and dirt get stuck in the pores of the skin. They become blackened due to the air. They eventually become acne when they are inflamed. The following are examples of some of the possible remedies or cures for blackheads. It is said that lemon juice mixed with salt and pepper applied on the infected areas will cure the blackheads. Toothpaste dabbed on the blackhead areas are known to cleanse the pores. The combination of honey and sugar is a known scrub, which is effective in exfoliating the pores of the skin. The honey is also a good moisturizer. Scrubbing the face with green tea is also known to loosen the pores filled with blackheads. Another effective remedy is to mix groundnut oil and lemon juice, applying the mixture on the infected areas for 10 to 15 minutes, washing the face with warm water afterwards.

 

Remedies Zits

 

Zits are primarily caused by the excessive excretion of oil, produced by the sebaceous glands. The oil blocks the pores of the skin, trapping bacteria and dirt in the pores. Some remedies to help treat zits include using honey and olive oil to soothe the skin. Creating a paste from curd and margosa juice is also another known effective remedy for zits.

 

Aside from the above-mentioned remedies, other ways to keep the skin healthy and free from acne, zits or blackheads include, regular exercise. Keep in mind that maintaining a healthy and positive mind is also important. In addition, being stress free can prevent pimples. Good skin hygiene is also a major thing to consider.
